GAIN INSTANT CUSTOMS VISIBILITY WITH CUSTOMSNOW

You have queries, we have solutions.

Discover U.S. Customs query functions that make a difference in your operations and open up new opportunities in your supply chain. Our solution is available as a standalone tool or as part of the CustomsNow ABI System where it drives entry filing validations, by for example, flagging commodities for potential dumping duties of Section 301 China tariffs.

Anti-dumping Query

Combatting unfair business practices by international players is currently a “trade priority issue” for CBP. That means importers need to be better informed than ever about the regulations as well as the companies they purchase from. The Anti-Dumping Query, enables importers to query whether dumping duties apply to specific product categories and the duty rate that applies. Users can search by country code + tariff number or even by manufacturer.

Cargo Manifest Query

Gain instant visibility into shipment status by going straight to the source. Transmit your bill of lading or in-bond cargo manifest query to Customs to learn ISF status or if the entry was filed and get an answer in seconds. You can receive immediate proof of U.S. Customs and (as available) Partner Government Agency (PGA) cargo releases for entries filed in ACE. Ordinarily when cargo hits Customs it can slip into an informational black hole, leaving truckers, warehouses, carriers and importers in the dark. Cargo Query gives you information that enables you to anticipate events and change transportation plans to optimize resources. Learn More

Countervailing Query

Countervailing is the practice of foreign governments unfairly subsidizing commodities to keep the prices well below market rates. Countervailing duty is an U.S. Customs import tax imposed on certain imported goods to prevent counter export subsidies. U.S. Importers must report accurately and pay the applicable duties, and failing to do so can raise red flags that trigger a Customs audit and penalties. Countervailing Query provides several search methods to correctly identify countervailing duties that apply and their corresponding duty rates.

Importer Bond Query

Importer bond query enables definitive answers fast.  Customs brokers can do a quick and easy query of a company’s tax ID number (also known as your EIN) to determine or confirm if an importer has a bond on file. This essential query is a popular standalone available by subscription.

Live Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Query

Importers considering buying a product need to know the duty rate in order to build it into the product cost. Live HTS Query empowers users to easily search and find up-to-date tariff numbers and duty rates—as well as duty rates from five years prior.  We download the most current HTS from U.S. Customs every night. The system also presents users with the requirements of Partner Government Agencies (PGAs), notifications when a product is subject to free trade agreements and special tariffs that may apply like anti-dumping duties or Section 301 China tariffs.

Quota Query

Find out if your product is subject to a quota, the amount of quota filled to date and the requirements for importing your product into the U.S. Quota Query lets you get essential information on the spot—before you file an entry or ship your product. Always up to date, our Quota Query function provides Customs brokers and importers with the facts they need to act.
