The International Trade Today’s ACE Weekly New Brief has been published, and here’s what we are paying attention to:

COAC Meeting date and agenda has been announced in Washington DC on November 14. Attend in person by registering here. If you can’t make the trek to our nation’s capital, take advantage of their webinar, but be sure to register by 5 PM EST on November 13.

The CPSC continues it’s yearlong study of the usefulness of obtaining certain compliance data prior to imports. The funding of ACE remains uncertain.

Ongoing issues mean ACE FTZ rollout won’t include streamlined air split shipment ability on December 9 as originally hoped. CBP has put ACE air split shipment functionality on the back burner to focus on activating the more central aspects of the ACE e214.
